Vinny the Vindicator

Twisted twinkle in his eye
Gentle drops of madness dripping on his mind
Psychotic thoughts bring on a curious smile

Black to red images
Knowing only in death can he lead them to light
His marked memory stained with pain
How much could be explained

Insane man walks alone
Sweating hands, bleeding toes
Walking for miles
Never far enough, never far enough

Standing under a streetlight
The bitter cold bare foot man
Shines his crazed intentions

God’s saintly savage
Sent to slaughter the sheep
The shepherd left behind

Watching his prey walk near
He steps to him
A moment of normalcy as the maniac
acknowledges the mans wave a nod

Then straight for the heart
with his holy dagger
Question filled eyes from the man to the stabber

Just before dying
looking to the fallen man
He fills with demented pride
for he has return the sheep back to the shepherd
