an empty frame hung upon a nail
driven into a febrile mind
the walls decay and drift away
among tear stained dreams
all it would take you know already
her words of anger would light upon your lips as love
replaces nothing but morphs back into something always there
grown within a cold black heart surprising its keeper
and pushing against skin drawn tight against creeping bones
she would you know if only you could but that you already know
as her soul withers within its cage rusted shut from ignorance
she steps one foot in front of the other and hopes one day youll stand in her way
and give her what she asks for and recieve what she gives you in kind
hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say
