HEY!!! shut up!

more noise please
fill me up
my head is quite empty
and it needs the weight
in the dead of night
possums come
find their way under the corrugated iron
stars spill milk
and cats turn into wild things
my baby murmurs in her sleep
and i wonder what shes dreaming of
the window is open
the screens torn
a light breeze caresses the curtains
and fat black flies light upon the sill
i leave them be to sleep
my head hurts and i close my eyes
covering my face with the pillow
more noise please
fill me up
my head is empty with disbelief
hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say

    If I could give u the noise that fills me, surely I would....its deafing...and keeps me from sleep.
