veiled words yet again
what is honest about silence dealt
i never ask for your return
just that youre straight with me
but every time you run and hide
and leave me here unsure and fried
to carry on?
that’s got to be some sort of perverse joke
that cant be it
youd think i was asking for a virgin sacrifice
i hate the way you throw me away
treat with me cold disdain
like im just some piece of crap
i deserve way more than that
and you know it
but youre just too weak
yeah that must be it
yet again your words rattle my mind
and now i slowly see
so weak
so beneath me
hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say

    (you may have just inspired me i have had writers block now for about 2 days
    imagine that, 2 whole fucking days without writing much and i am going insane.
    actually, maybe i needed a break.

    well i cant take full credit for the title chad. the band therapy have a song called jude the obscene. the inspiration for the poem however tweaked me enough to change it to judas. cause im feeling a little betrayed atm. by what some people deem honesty and respect. it appears that a simple answer is beyond some people to the extent that they veil their words in a way that though they can be addressed, it wouldnt be respectful to do so in the same medium. and so one finds themselves in a situation where frustration reigns and despite a little misgiving all you can do is come down to their level and reply in kind.

    anyhoo no i think this is a one off for judas the obscene.

    and lets not forget thomas hardy's jude the obscure. which is probably where therapy got their title from. :)
