in my hand

if i could cut my heart out
i would gladly hold it in my hand
and watch the life drip out of it
a puddle in which i'd stand
i'd hold it out so you could see
exactly how i felt
and then id make you eat it all
as you choked on my last breath.
hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say
