she skips along the edge
losing her balance and righting herself
she trips and stumbles
but has the strength to recover
she sees him in the distance
and twirls in the wind
with nothing on her mind but him
the closer he gets the more she sways
towards an abyss that she kinda digs
her arms stretched out to the sides
her eyes fixed on the prize
she skips along the edge
and it just brings her nearer to him.
hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say
