so close and yet so far
she holds her hand out
he lets it drop
turns his back and walks away
all she can do is weep
and watch him go
the anger rising within her will poison her soul
and match all the pain she will visit upon herself
alone in her room where no one sees
shes tired of the monochrome
tired of the nothing she's getting
tired of him and his egocentric waste of space

she will choke on the vomit she has become
