your presence burns my skin
my heart just atrophies
you shouldn't have come back
what the hell were you thinking?
i used to feel your heartbeat
the breath beneath, within
and now for some strange reason
you stand in front of me
what the hell am i 'spose to do
when you say you see me and you crave me
what the hell am i 'spose to do
when you know that i can't touch you
and you say this denial is not working for you
i'm really not in such a good place
that i can cope with much
and you just reaching out right now
is much much more than crossing boundaries
i dont think you realise what it is you do to me
and i dont think you realise just how broke inside i am
did you think before you acted
or was it some kind of impulse thing
did you know i'd not deny you
despite the price it'd cost me
i'm not quite sure what it is im saying
my head is spinning madly
you should not have come back when
it's not my life that you'd be sharing
hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say
