silent running
screaming hiding
the things she does
don't get it done
she reaches out
the air's thin and empty
no one here to know her name
she wonders if by chance
they'll hear her
or if she's mute
and doomed to fail
she clutches at her skin
worth tearing
shred it all
and drink the blood
every time her eyes are open
is every time she wishes herself dead
she tires of the daylight dawning
and the fact that she's around to see it
how many times
how low she's fallen
just once more
will end it all
an even flow to life's extinction
it's over now she sighs and...
hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say
