i stood over you
watch you sleep
hand held behind my back
thoughts in my head
you don't know i'm there
don't know the strength
i draw from your vulnerability
helpless in sleep
dreams cloud your mind
mine is clear
focussed
on task
she lies beside you
complicit
intrude
invade
your personal space
awake
you sense something
still unsure
sideways glance
accusing stares
your nerves stretched
senses tense
don't worry i won't hurt you
maybe
for now
it's enough for me to know
that you think me capable
your mind degrades
i feed off it
power grows
justified
for what you've done
to me
taken from me
made me.
hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say

The ending is very powerful and I love the way it's written. Thanks for sharing!

I agree...very good and disturbing. These kind make me squirm...hit to close to home for me.
Our love must not be just words, but True Love, which shows itself in action,
No one needs a smile more than someone who fails to give one,
After you die...you know how to LIVE!
