i never felt so alive
than on the day you died
i never ached so much
than on the day you stopped
i didn't knock
never did
you were where i always left you
prostrate on your bed
dirty blue sheet tangled in your legs
a bird tattoo on your calf
i smile
touch my hand to it
i have it's twin
foolish youth
youthful love
devotion
i draw my hand up your body
thinking of better days
as i kneel
your life extinguished
it's essence gone
what to do
if i make the call
they'll take you from me
i lie with you
press my lips to your skin
wrap my arm around you
hand on your chest
willing you
to come back to me.
hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say

This is good and easy to picture.
Our love must not be just words, but True Love, which shows itself in action,
No one needs a smile more than someone who fails to give one,
After you die...you know how to LIVE!
