she

she'll cover him in kisses
and smother him with love
she'll let him smoke his cigarettes
and keep him close with hugs
she'll dance with him
and sing him songs
and listen while he plays guitar
she'll walk with him through darkened woods
and make love in the mud
she'll give him the time and space he needs
feed and nurture him so he grows
when he's ready he'll be wholly hers
and they'll be each other's guiding stars.
hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say

    and yes we have a 'z' in our alphabet.
