leaving

he'll turn his back on you
just as soon as he'll breath
he's not good with goodbyes
and when he wants to
when he's finished
he'll just leave
it doesn't matter to him
what gets left behind
a little destruction
he doesn't like long goodbyes
with him only one person
involved knows it's an end
some times are more subtle
but often times not
he doesn't want to hurt you
he just doesn't have the nerve
it's his weakness
but he never said he was a saint
never tried to be one
looking back he can see
some don't know what they did
he's sure he had reason
but it'd help if they knew why
so when he's finished
on the trip that he's on
when he's used you up
when there's nothing else to be done
well he'll just kinda walk away
no back ward glance
it's not honest
or is it?
a clean
but tough break
no drawn out conclusions
no chance for weirdness
nothing too fuckin' strange
just that tough
but clean break
and he's gone
just like that
he's gone.
hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say

and you know, I think I know this guy....

This poem hits you like a punch in the face.... but its bloody great. Resembles a song to me though, is it intended to be? would love to hear it done to music....

    ugh so realistic.

I agree, this is really good! I think I have none someone like him as well...
Our love must not be just words, but True Love, which shows itself in action,
No one needs a smile more than someone who fails to give one,
After you die...you know how to LIVE!
