Born inside a chrysalis
Dying of contempt
I thought of what you did to me
And hoped you paid the rent
Everytime you walked the street
and every time you bleed
you’d think of what you did to me
your mind I’d never leave
you thought you had the right
to treat me any way you like
but now that you know better
the ache descends like night
but it’s not for me
the feelings come
it’s knowing that you’ll hurt
and not be able to take the pain
your life will become inert
I’ll take comfort when your gone
But it won’t make me smile
I’m not like you
I never was
I won’t live with self denial
So come on please
Take my hand
Touch my cheek once more
I’ll break you down
I’ll make you crawl
You won’t know what to do
But that’s alright cause I’m in charge
I’ll show you how it goes
When your shell breaks open and
You dissolve upon your funeral pyre
I’ll gaze upon a job well done
Your death was my desire.
hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say
