i see you standing in the shadows
burning glowing embers
i feel your warmth
and close the distance
but still you can't be caught
i wonder what is in your mind
i wish that you would say
i hold your hand inside my night dreams
and wait for you to play
so when you know that you can come
don't hesitate to speak
i stand outside bathed in the moon's light
and know you're in my heart
for you to give me all you can
would be my pure delight
but until then i'll hold within me
small treasures i can keep.
