certain belief

high on life
and
out of my mind in love
he inspires me
he drives me
he knows how to play my game
and what turns me on.

out of my mind
and
stone cold in love
he makes me smile
he makes me laugh
he gives me the space to carry on
and asks for not much in return

his voice soothes me into peace
and lifts me high
he won't ever let me fall
from a third floor balcony
high above the grass

he touches me deeply
with an immediacy that thrills me
he tells me he loves me
and he knows i love him
living in a state of love and trust
not getting much else done

but i know if he gave me enough rope
i'd surely hang us both.
hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say

    is this like...written from juliet's perspective?

    it's an awesome idea and well carried out
    i'd suggest maybe some more shakespearean phrasing...maybe...i dunno

    but it's a fun one...at least thinking of it in that way
    if you're a pot smoker and you don't own a ukulele you're fuckin up...but then once you get a ukulele you might end up moving to a guitar because its a gateway instrument you know
