had to go

the front doors
stood wide open
but you took
the wall
the back way out
i never said you
had to stay
i never understood
the game you played
we all looked for you
you were nowhere to be found
days went by
afterwards
people said
they'd seen you here
seen you there
unfortunately
someone did
one of them was telling the truth
but you were gone
a note
scrawled on a cereal box
your skin hard
your blood black
you took your sadness
with you
that
you can't escape
thanks for leaving
enough for us
to curse you with
to self doubt
to wonder what
else we could've done
i never said you
had to stay
the game you played
that i never understood
had just one rule
live or die
not sure
how one wins
with just one rule
did you win
cause we sure lost
did you find
what you were looking for
was it worth the grief
you left behind
do you even care
was it all about you
hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say

Excuse me while I catch my breath.
One can't exactly react by saying nice poem.
It is beautifull in it's blackness.
« One man's glory is another man's hell.
You’re on the outside, never bound by such a spell.
Together in the darkness, alone in the light.
I took it upon me to be yours, Timmy,
I’ll lead your angels and demons at play tonight......»
