not sure if i've posted this before.

i can no longer feel
what i've tried to ignore
when you try to come near
i just turn and walk out the door
this thing that's between us
can never be right
two hearts broke apart
and two souls black as night
my back's against the wall
but you keep moving closer
i can't get away fast enough
when i walk out that door
you follow close behind
i wish we could go back
to the start but
we both know that we can't
it's not working now
my instincts are bound
and treading the same path
is just repeating mistakes.
