hey
i know you
subtle snake
you think i'll fall
i won't
think i'm tempted
i'll walk away
think you know me
you know nothing at all
i feel the chill in my bones
such a long way from home
move closer to you
to keep warm
dreaming of you
to keep calm
still the chill is there
deep in my bones
got no god filled heart
but at least
it's not filled
with devils and dust
got my finger on my pulse
but there's nothing there to feel
you think you know me
subtle snake
you think the gift you hold
in your hand
will tempt me
you think you know me that well
i'll walk away
still think you know me
you know nothing at all.
hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say
