    people assume corgan has it out for eddie and co. just because of a few dinky comments? I've seen corgan praise pearl jam. If anything I think he says things to get attention or just to bust some balls around the pj message boards.

    I first noticed Corgan's negative talk related to PJ when he was interviewed on some rock radio station and they asked him about Pearl Jam and he said they used to be so sweet and innocent and they got crustier with age. Shortly thereafter he made the Eddie Vedder on a bender comment to MTV and berated musicians who talk politics. His lackey replacement band member remarked "Amen to that."

    Corgan is such a fucking douche. I actually think he's trying to start the same kind of one-sided shit talking rivalry that existed on Cobain's part years ago. Maybe he thinks this will make the Smashing Pumpkins more current or relevant than they are. I think it's for attention. Either way, I can't stand that ET looking mother fucker.

    While those events did happen, she softened her stance on Eddie later on. In fact, when Rolling Stone did their hatchet-job on Eddie, she defended him in a letter that was published in the next issue.
