Yield should always be listened to with headphones

agreed? I was listening to this amazing masterpiece last night with headphones, and I gotta say the sound is amazing. You notice every little guitar riff in the background and all the subtle whispers. It truly makes the album come alive, as it is layered with so many different sounds you might not notice when listening to it through speakers. I gotta say I love this album even more now!

    Yes, it is a top album, the first one of PJ's I heard and the one that got me in.

    I listened to the last half of it while running this morning. It gave me another reason to be thankful.

    so so true! it's also cool to hear the songs when one of the sides are broken. i remember when that happened to me and i could only hear out of the right earphone and it forced me to hear some parts i wouldn't have heard before because they were drowned out, like stone's riffs or subtle ed stuff.

    Great album. Definitely benefits from the wax treatment as well. Maybe the most enhanced PJ album on vinyl.

    i have the tracking number, it just says it arrived in my country on 11/13. dunno where it is though.. i'm sure it'll come soon though :)

    i get what you mean by the subtlr riffs on yield. in hiding is a great example of that. that is a great sounding album. probable the best even.

    I completely agree. When I listen to PJ with headphones, I can hear the subtleties of the music, and I feel like I'm just surrounded by sound. It's an awesome experience.

    You need to listen to a lot of their stuff with headphones. I never understood what the pause at the begging of Daughter was for. Now I know it's because Stone was talking.

    Yes and No. Why? Because I bought a BOSE Wave Radio last year and in a nutshell, I started buying CDs again because of it. The sound that comes out of that thing is amazing. Truly amazing. I am going to replace my Very Nice Yamaha Stereo Receiver with the BOSE receiver system as soon as I get the 2G to do it. As for the Headphones, If you have a good Set, YES. YOU CANNOT BEAT VINYL THROUGH PHONES.
