my head feels like it's splitting two
i see everything so clearly
but i can't see what i want to see
and what i want to see is you
it drives me to distraction
it makes feel qyuite ill
i'm hiding deep within myself
willing my mind to slow down still
i'm trying to breathe to stay afloat
my brow it throbs with pain
the mantra underneath it all
won't keep all my thougths straight
so here's something that just might work
though it pains for me to say
until you choose to show your hand
perhaps i need to step away
