pull it out
use it
sirocco blowing
through your mind
heart wild
and hollow
feeding frenzy
desperation hiding behind
every waking thought
every action made
breath so heavy
it sticks to my ribs
fury given wings by
wounds of childhood
cycle upon cycle upon...
final abuse of self
a haemorrhage of heart
of mind
of soul

hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
