ive been calling in the wind
and ive not heard a reply
all that i am sensing is the screaming
grown tenfold, that echoes in my mind
i thought i had it all worked out
i thought i had it straight
turns out the waves were bouncing off
the fractures cut deep inside
i open my mouth to speak your name
the silence it just deafens
a dangerous sound left wanting
i feel my flesh just peel back
exposing all my longing
ive been calling in the wind
for you to come quench my desire.
hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say

cate, that was beautiful, don't know what to say so as to explain myself, i liked that there was no real sentence structure, it just flowed (and i hate rhyming, so +1 for not doing that), and i like the metaphore of the wind, and that i can feel that power of being smacked by the wind. and sadly that's as articulate as i can express my feeling
No problem can be solved from the same consciousness that created it.
