they lay in each other's arms
comforted by the lies that keep them warm
he keeps secrets but she never asks
cause she covets her own
wanting to give it all
but not wanting to lose control
he feels every breath she takes
and wonders how he can steal them
she gives him all he wasn't getting
but still it's not enough
the one thing she has in her possession
is the one thing he wants as his own
and when she asks he answers with a smile.
hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say

    I really like this one.
    There's something about this line...
    "cause she covets her own"
that doesn't quite sound as good as the rest, that line could be dropped and it would still be brilliant.
