woke up wishing i hadn't
too many contrary thoughts
too much thinking
not enough breathing
im staring at nothing
with not much to say
can't seem to get it together
and i'm losing my grip
blind and running
no destination
woke up wishing i hadn't
crumbling dreams
lies deceiving
no confession
desperate to connect
too many too much not enough
living loving barely breathing
woke up this morning
good morning, not.
hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say

    I really like the wishing I hadn't.

It has a temporaneity about it... it's not like you would never want to wake up, it's just that on this particular day your thoughts didn't arrange so as to make it a good day.
And I like the conclusion "goodmorning, not".
Hope you have a good one tomorrow :)
... and the will to show I will always be better than before.

get up outta bed, go brush your teeth, mouth wash..
    start your coffee pot..
    crawl back into your bed..
    kiss your man..
    nicely done cate..
