not sewn
left open to deceive
a final truth
will he hate her

she hates her life
her cottonwool mind
soaked in poison
she reaches out for one last touch
recoils as he starts to turn

she knows it
best she be alone
but she knows that's no absolute
she shares her skin
her alter hooded
patiently waiting
whispering
beatific smile
knowing
if she floats, she's a witch
if her soul floats, she is free
past judgement of any kind
