she wanders by a silver stream
that winds amongst the woods
the path she takes divides in two
she has to make a choice
left or right?
she knows the way
but still her heart is torn
she stops to think and sit awhile
the moon above is whole
she remembers once
a grand cathedral
that sat upon a hill
and the devotion of another
that pressed against her soul
she hoped the answers would come to her
and she'd know just what to do
she searched inside
almost lost faith
now she can start anew
the way she needed showed itself
though it didn't make her smile
she copes with it
one day at a time
but her memory will never tire.
