of course i can live without you
there never was a doubt
the fact is i didn't want to
but now that choice ain't mine to make
just when i think i'm coping
you pop right inside my mind
sometimes it makes me smile
though still bittersweet i'd have to say
i wonder what the fuck went wrong
and where all the effort went
i thought we could get through anything
if we just sat and talked awhile
and you told me what you were thinking
while we figured how to make it right
but now you don't want to do it
and i'm left here dazed in the rain
you told me you don't want this
and i thought there was more to it than that
but now i stand here kinda useless
the tears they've long since dried
and everyday the distance fades
as i leave you far behind
