whose word?

i wonder who you think you are
do you think you’re God
God give life and He taketh it away
can you?
without remorse. without redemption
maybe you’re the devil himself
come i’ll open my archives of pain and perhaps teach you a lesson
but you can read all you like
i know you will never learn
they punish you, yet their core is murder
open your mind and your heart
or they will be buried you inside your killer’s tomb
the needle, the gun, the knife, the word, life's poison
weapons of choice. what’s yours?
i wonder who you think i am
am i your jailer or your saviour
can i be both?
or am i neither
i am the taker of your life and the one that gave birth to you
i am your mother and the reaper
hung, drawn and quartered
which way way to go
would you prefer something more insidious
something to make your killer feel more righteous.
if we don’t see agony, is there pain?
is it hidden within and not our concern
i wonder who you think i am
that is the least of your worries
do you even know who you are?
hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say

    I have no idea who I am. Everyday it's a mystery. :D

    inspired by my richey thread?
"I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"
