oh to be
to be able
to be able to turn my back
turn my back on you

i speak
i speak to
i speak to myself in my mind
and tis you that we discuss

the advice i give
i don’t listen to cause
cause i just can’t
i just can’t turn my back on you

even when you don’t listen
even when you don’t call
even when i know you can’t ever
can't ever be mine whole

i just can’t
i just can’t ever
i can’t ever listen to the sage voice
the sage voice that fills my head

but still i know
i know you won't
won't ever return
ever return to me

so i shall
so i shall remain
remain here alone
alone here as i go under
hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say

good to read something new by catefrances!
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green
