she stands at the open door, a suitcase in her hand.
all the love she has tied inside weighs her down in the end
shes come to a decision, its time to walk away
its time to give herself some room to allow him to live without her sway
she told him she was going, that this was for the best
the only way though that he'd believe is if her count were at a rest
and so she left a note, one with probably too many words, of course
its actions that speak louder, so much more than words spoken with force
she smiles when she thinks of him and sometimes her brow furrows at the same thoughts
she thinks she finally realises she cant be anything to him if she cant be something to herself
she closes the door behind her, stepping out into the sun
and she knows she wont return until what she has to do is done
