happy people make me sick
their exposed throats i want to slit
their happy words dance in my head
they make me cry i wish i were dead.
i read what you write and my anger rises
please know it's not you that my heart despises
i have to get this poison out
it's him i hate, there is no doubt
time they say heals all wounds
here i stand waiting, feeling doomed
if i could drink myself to death
i'd gladly take my final breath
happy people make me sick
though perhaps it's my own throat i want to slit.
hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say

    Hey, I saw her first :D

    I must once again say that I love your poem

    It represents what I have felt for a long time now towards every human being I met. (especially in public area's)

    And I raise my glass to your health (mentally as well as physically)

    all i know is the majority of the time what i write comes directly from where ever my emotions are kept onto the page. it's like therapy for me.
    for instance, i wrote this one after not being able to finish reading even half a page of the happiness thread over on AET.

    Yeah, I'm messed up in the head. It's not the writing... it's the name... I don't know... I guess I'm just a bit bored of life at the moment.
