punching holes in the walls
she screams
she pulls at her hair
and she screams
but no one hears
it's all in her head.
she waits for him
but he never comes
he said he'd be back
she waits
she screams
but he never hears
it's all in her head.
she wraps her arms tight
around her own self
she thinks her life exists
she doesn't know anymore
scratches her skin til it bleeds
maybe it's all only ever
been inside her head.
hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say

  • What if it were all an illusion? It's crazy to think that it could be true.
