rocked away

what do i need
when all i have
is in front of me

what do i see
when all you are
is everything to me

if i was to fall
would you keep me whole?
if i found myself lost
would you help reclaim my soul?

if everything i need and
all i see is you
would you stand right by
my side just to get me through?
hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say

    As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
    And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
    He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
    What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
    Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
    And his tears fall and burn the garden green
