there were people all around her
but all she felt was alone
the pictures flickered on the wall
and she thought she was going insane
what was this feeling that overwhelmed her
and why was it here now for
was it sent to test her
maybe show her the way home
she wanted to stand and run away
but thought it better not to
too much explanation needed
and no patience to deliver
so she waited
tried to push it down
to where it couldn't be seen
but she knows tis only a matter of time
before it has her on the floor
