that i saw stars

you make me want to live my life
and not leave it half way through
the words you say and how you say them
and everything in between just lights my day
i know sometimes we falter
but we never leave it lie
it's best to air the laundry
and always always try
to love without exclusion
to know there's history there
to say everything that's necessary
and not be so discreet
you fill my life with so much light
and you know there are some shadows
i'd rather live with you in that dark
and step upon the cracks left in the pavement
than live a life that i don't want
