what if no one came
what if no one cared
what if you were left to your own devices
and collapsed into disrepair
would someone eventually come save you
would someone eventually give a damn
would someone hold you tight to them
and swear they'd never leave.
hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say

    cate, I think a lot of homeless people might be able to answer this...and a lot of people who have been loved. I think it probably depends on who falls down and needs to be picked up...I don't think we live in a fair world that way...so much depends on where souls are in the scheme of things...
