you’ve tied me up in so many knots
a boy scout couldn’t untie me
you’ve got me screaming so loud I could die
all I know is i don’t wanna be
i'm tired of breathing, of denying
but too dumb to quit believing
i've eaten so much at your table
my belly is already too full
i’m at the end of the rope
holding on for dear life
i know what I’m feeling inside is not right
you seem to measure us by differences
and what can’t be achieved
instead of just falling
and trusting I can catch you
i doubt that you’ll read this
so you won’t know what I’m feeling
but one day real soon you best just start believing.
