a comet across the blackness
reflecting light upon broken souls
a strength divined momentarily
a positive force against the tide
fly so close and yet so far
but near enough to count
looking skyward
new moon rising
one day soon
she can see it all
hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say
