needle

I've severed all my best ties to focus on the ones that need mending as I kneel here with needle and thread, I realize I can't sow a puzzled look across the sky as the sun shines water castles so bright can't see the point of reason and thought as a libral-minded hyprocrate speaks to me in wispering voices saying not heard or understood constantly reminding just to breathe and exale in full motion stuggle to fill the empty capactiy that exists too deep within all these pages that fill my books are words alike that which are forgotten, filling and sinking together bringing new trees, grown in the forest that once stood tall as a man enters with an axe, to put a stop to it despritalty try to focus on the path which has no leader, no scene to follow loyally now that the needle is broking in shards understand the reasons with which it existed closing doors without locks or knobs swinging back and forth between reason in a thought of a thousand pounds light struggling to see it through the emptyness pulled back by the needle and thread fixing what was once torn apart

i like this very much.. thank you
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green

I know, I like olderman a lot too, he's the coolest older guy I've ever seen on a message board, usually they're douche bags.

this is a good poem. For some reason whenever I see the word 'needle' in literature I turn it into an allusion to heroin, but maybe thats just me
The most remarkable thing about you standing in the doorway, is that its you, and that you're standing in the doorway.

I write down good reasons to freeze to death in my spiral ring notebook. But in the long tresses of your hair--I am a babbling brook.

You're not the only one with that thought. I almost didn't title it 'needle' because of it. It's about a needle as in needle and thread..ok not really, it's much deeper then that.

    :)

no, I knew it wasn't a heroin reference, I could tell. I could also tell it wasn't exclusively about a needle and thread ;)
