I forget
what is it like
where they fall
flooding the ground
blurred eyes can't see
dark pools
how long
how much longer will this go
on until the black falls over
the sky tells you
listen to it
closer....

    ha, someone told me this was sad and they thought I was gonna die or something, no no. I hate saying what things I write are really about...but this is about locusts, as strange as it may seem.

    dark pools always make me think of blood...

    When I hear warble I always think birds, I've never heard locusts but I've hear thousands of cicetas before, interesting to think of the connotations of insects warbling
