Well I was a little drunk last night (mostly because I was drinking on an empty stomach) and wrote a version of Wishlist (one verse) at 4 am this morning when I really wanted more alcohol... it goes a little something like this... (sing it to the tune of the last verse of Wishlist)

I wish I had some alcohol, a bottle in my hand
I wish I had some malibu and diet lemonade
I wish I had some WKD to make some cheeky vimtos
I wish I wish I wish I wish I guess I'll stay sober!

Hmmm, come to think of it....

I wish I had some lemonade to mix some Archers with
I wish I had some Baileys and some star shaped icicles
I wish I had the energy to get me out this chair
I wish I had a slave to get me drinks all the live long day....

what kind of a mood do you get in when you drink? some people get so happy and carefree, lose inhibitions enough to at least get social, sometimes to the point of forgetting to just say no to a lot of things.

or some people get all morose and angry about their situations, crying in their beer, so to speak. or they fight, cuss and offend way more than they usually would.

it's weird what kinds of behavior we accept from people, just because they have alcohol affecting their judgment and their physical selves.

anyway, i likes me whiskey, but i don't have it that often so i go over there a little and then come back to me again. though it's pretty fun being drunk with somebody you care about, i'd just as soon be sober to enjoy it more, or maybe just a little high so i can relax. i still don't know why i get so nervous and excited about interacting with the opposite sex.

get me while i'm tipsy, i'll just ignore you if i'm completely straight! better yet, buy me that drink and make sure you never take your eyes off me!
  • I think in general (meaning people who do not have addiction problems with alcohol) that drinking accentuates the type of person you really are.

People who tend to be morose, become more so. Easy-going people become more easy-going. Assholes become bigger assholes :)
