And now the choices to be made
You think are yours to make
But the questions that you raise
Don't matter anyway

You better leave this one to me

I need a crowd to feel alone
By myself I feel at home
You want to help me along
But just like him I'm gone

You better leave this one to me

The grass is greener over there
I'm at the beach so I don't care
You take your image everywhere
I say Fuck'em let'em stare

You better leave this one to me

- It's really fun to play over some punk chords, you guitarists out there should try it

If there was a chair in which I could comprehend, I would stand always and embrace the path

    I like that line especially.

    I like your ability to speak plainly and yet get minds working at the implications of the words. I'd say that's an art, in poetry (and I don't mean an artifice).

    The lyrics are mine--"You'd Better You'd Better You Bet" is the Who (which everyone needs to listen to more of)

    I remember The Who's song of that title being in the UK charts in 1981! I was only nine, and already nuts on my brother's copy of "Live at Leeds."
