It is your responsability USA, do not put that mother fucker Bush in charge again, he is going to use the Saddam arest to get elected. I'm all the way back here in south america, i can't do shit about it. What makes me realize the responsability you have electing a president, he is not only your president he is a world leader so, get picky.
It was a dream, not a nightmare. A beautiful dream I could never imagined in a thousand nods. I saw this girl next to me, she wasn't beautiful until she smiled. And I felt that smile come at me in heat waves following. Soaking through my body and out my finger tips in shafts of color. And I knew somewhere in the world, somewhere, that there was love for me.

Just because they got Suddam that wouldn't change my feelings toward Bush...It would take a miracle for me to vote for him.
These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.
  • We didnt vote for him the first time. But look he's president somehow....hmm wonder how that happend. Yah American Democrecy ( AKA money )!!!!

  • It wasnt just florada messing up on there votes. The Bush party changed ballots so they would be more confuseing in poor areas in florada were he knew he wouldnt get votes. Stuff like that can get him re-elected.
  • stuff like that can have the election stolen again......he was never elected in the first place.

I'm in no way a Bush supporter, but that was possibly the dumbest thing I've ever read...

I agree, that was quite idiotic. Apparently, these are the people that know what's best for this country.

Remove your political diatribe from this forum if you please.

and I may not know what's best for this country, but as a parent I can expressly tell you that George W Bush and his values are not those that I am teaching my children. And, in the end, what is best for the children is best for this country.

My .02. now fuck off and take it elsewhere.

    sorry for the pissy mood.

and deal with the fact that there are a multitude of people dearly wishing for a new pres.

Not sure if you are "pissy" at me, but tell me, why should I fuck off? Perhaps your ".02" is just that.

I suppose that I was too general. I wasn't exactly aiming that fuck off at you.

I really kind of meant that fuck off in an umbrella coverage sort of way to all political movements making their way about the day. it's all bullshit to me.

also, my .02 is just that. .02. if it was more, dammit I'd have told you it was a buck fifty.

I will admit though, I'm almost in the proper mood for a bit of lingual scrap. However the part of me that is semi rational at this hour states that perhaps that would be neither honorable nor necessary.

So my apologies to you, in particular Champ, but none to George W. Fucker that he is.

however, I'm considering raising my .02 to .03, just for spite.

    :D

Thank you, your apology is accepted. Where does your .03 see this country going? Specifically, what would you do to lead this country in the direction that will benefit the majority of the people?

    look.

I have never said to anyone that I am president material. though I feel that I have far better ethics ingrained within me than those demonstrated over the past few years by our current leader, my job is to take care of myself and to teach my children how to think for themselves, how to question properly, how to find answers they need, how to reason, how to share, how to decide what type of love and at what strength is appropriate for all things good.

I am not teaching them patriotism nor am I teaching them civic duty, two abstracts that are utterly useless to personal growth, and as nearly impossible to explain to a first grader as the existence of god and the meaning of various religions.

I can tell you this: censorship is increasing and with the historical reform act in place and revisionist history now being ALLOWED into text books, it will not be long, nor would it surprise me, until the history of the United States taught to our children will be far different from the one that we learned. We can no longer trust the images portrayed by the media or in the newspapers due to the digital age and imaging revolution that has taken place (they can now show us whatever they damn well please and expect us to take it as truth). Our ability to visually perceive truth and/or infer truth from the printed word is slowly being taken away. That's been taking place since the 1950's, true, but now it is happening faster and with greater efficiency than ever before as more and more people just want to be left alone and prefer to teach ignorance and bliss over information and querying stress.

I would, however try to reform the following things:

First, and most trivial, would be the communications net. Most countries have one standard, that being GSM, and it is therefore possible to take a cell phone from country to country without swapping and without paying more money for this in and out of network b.s. There is competition and there is the ability to gouge the consumer. Break it down. If the universal aptitude of the GSM system really took place in America, then the bell systems would indeed go south as everyone would switch to cell plans. Simple. Effective and easy to track. Locators and GPS abound... it could even save lives. It would also be a boon to law enforcement, allowing also for the possible invasion of privacy, there would have to be regulatory laws (as there are now) in place, but for the most part a much better way of doing things.

Health Care: constantly under reform, there needs to be a standard set by which all United States citizens are entitled to care if needed, whether or not they have the funds. There is an ENORMOUS surplus of dollars in the medical industry, specifically in the business side of things, not necessarily the tech, as that's all mostly privately controlled, and it could really be used to lower costs by spreading the wealth a little thinner, with greater concentrations in those areas and for those below the poverty line, especially those who are holding steady jobs and working for a living. Yes, in a manner of speaking I am suggesting a type of controlled health care system similar to the Canadian version. The positives are that everyone with citizenship would have access and status, and that everyone could at least have access to pharmaceuticals that they needed for prescriptions. Outpatient and emergency care would especially benefit. The disadvantage is that it has the possibility of costing jobs in the private sector as competition would thin out somewhat and the government becomes the single largest contract.... I am not sure.

Day Care: see above only apply day care to controlled cost of living. Offer it as a part of HOA fees, part of the education tax dollars, whatever works. People need daycare so that their children can be educated or at least professionally tended to while the TWO PARENTS are both working at outside jobs trying to make ends meet. Another area.

Public Schools. There must needs be a greater diversity and EQUALITY in money movement in the public school system... it is sheer idiocy that any given school in any given state should have less opportunity than any other school because those that attend it are in a less fortunate economic status. Bullshit is another good term. Pull money from the COLUMBINES of this world and put them in the EAST HIGH SCHOOL that hasn't been renovated since 1976, so that there is an ability to build a consistent educational structure of teaching and classrooms that allows for equality of equipment, tech, and opportunity. This business of testing schools that are underprivileged and then being SURPRISED that they don't pass, and then putting them under state supervision while all the real money goes to private schools is utter crap. It makes no sense. Over 85% of the US child population uses public schools. Improve them, and the majority will be more than taken care of. Don't let the financial class and technology gap separate one student's ability to learn from another's across town.

there that is plenty for now. I'm shutting up. but these are a few of the many.
and considering what all my family and I went through with Columbine, you are lucky I don't go into gun control.

    I could not agree MORE

partisan politics merely eats at the code of opportunity given to any fresh idea.

this policy of back slapping back scratching politics is eroding our culture.

we are the new Roman Empire, and one day our government will be our downfall.

Consider reality tv the new shows in the coliseum. Welcome to the dumbing down and taming of a nation.

    Suckers.

p.s. you forgot the Ford vs. Chevy debate... and for us camera geeks Nikon vs. Canon... or whomever else...
