Best of 2008! Best '08 Ed show? Best '08 Pearl Jam show? What say's you? :)
'08 was pretty sweet! What were your favorite moments?
Pearl Jam East Coast Experience. I did New York 1, New York 2, Hartford, Boston 1 & Boston 2. First time staying, on my own at these huge cities. I so wanted to go with a group on this tour. Was in talk with a few to go together, stay at a hotel etc.. but that didn't work out. :( So, I went on my own. First time ever visiting the East Coast of the USA. And it was just amazing! Nights were great, meeting old & new friends. The sites, the sounds of the big cities. But that day in Hartford, will stick in my head, forever. Helping out at the Wishlist Foundation table, getting to meet so many friends, some I met who i've donated in charites & fundraisers online. I met this beautiful young lady who I was crazy over (today, we are just friends). Going to the arena (a place hundreds of people bad mouthed on the boards, that the Hartford show/arena would suck) man, did Pearl Jam show you. The power, the intensity, the setlist, the energy of that crowd was just mindblowing. After the show I went out for pizza with the Wishlist Foundation crew. Laura, Eric, Selin, Jenn & many other's. I love you guy's. Hope to see you in '09!
For the Ed West Coast & East Coast show's, I did Santa Barbara, Los Angeles 1, Montreal 1, Montreal 2, Toronto 1 & Toronto 2. They were all amazing, but if I had to choice the best ED show I had experienced of the 6, it would have to go to Toronto 2. The setlist, the show, the Neil Young covers, the crowd (little less wild then the previous nights) the amazing day with Wishlist Foundation at the Elephant & Castle Pub, helping out the White Ribbon Campaign w/ a sweet signed Ed poster. Meet so many friends, got pretty intense & very emotional (that after the show, I went straight to my hotel, not saying a goodbye) I couldn't face them, cause I was in tears & something got to me that it's pretty emotional to say. It was probably another magical night that I'll never forget! I organized all 4 Montreal & Toronto Wishlist Foundation preparties on my own. With help by LongRd & satanman at the tables! A huge thank you! And ACCBootlegGoddess w/friends helping me move the Ed goods from Montreal to Toronto. Hope you guy's have a great holiday season. To everyone I met on this amazing tour, thank you!
Hope to see you again in '09!
I'll be at Wishlist Foundation tables!
See you there!
Happy Holiday's! And a Happy New Year '09!

For me it started flying cross the US, from my lovely cold and rainy Seattle to 95 degrees sauna that was Nashville, Tennessee for Bonnaroo.
Flying out all alone, to volunteer ahead of the festival, I sure was apprehensive but it came to be an amazing experience, and it didn't take long till I saw all familiar faces again from tour life, Pegasus, Jbiz, Carlos, even Leigh from Oz!
Then I made acquaintance with my ride, and new friend for the rest of the tour – Brainofdz, what a trip! It was never less than a roller coaster ride with him around. Joined by OzCharlie, who looked out for me and kept me feeling safe and sane, from city to city, venue to venue, car park to car park. New friends made who came along (Hi Evan!) Familiar ones (Steph! Mike! Vedder_soup! Liam!) friends dearly missed (Hinny, your spirit was there!) Jump photos, good times… And seeing you D, at the pre-parties, along with the wishlists and all their little helpers, dedicated to the charities, it is such a lovely thing to see people come together inspired by a band we love. It really makes me happy to be a part of this bigger thing.
Madison square garden. Oh my… for night one my friend urbanhiker joined me from Seattle, only for my ticket pair to win the lottery! We were front row right under Ed and had the time of a life… The second night was special for me – I loved the energy, we rocked the house and Mike went up to the mic… Later, me and charley spent a lovely sunny day walking around beautiful Boston, ate a big juicy lobster and ran into Mike on Beacon Street. 'Cready also agreed, MSG II was his favorite of the tour. The night ended perfectly at a dinner with many jammer friends, young and old (Cheerio brisk!). This tour was no doubt, one of the greatest months of my life… Did I say Hartford setlist?

Sammi: Wanna just break up?
Hoping for more shows closer to me in Wyoming, I have kids to put through school dammit!
Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, Montana, Colorado!!!!!
Your lucky you are able to attend so many shows! I only attended the Boston II show (6/30/08). I live in the Boston area...I can't afford to fly to shows in other states. I would have loved to have gone to one of Eddie's solo shows in Boston but I could not get my hands on any tickets! :-(
Sweet! Next time, we'll talk longer! I was pretty sick that day! My eyes were blood red & my lungs were so tight few day's before the show, coming back from Las Vegas. I shared my spare ticket that night, LA1, to an amazing friend i'll never forget. As the end of '08 comes near, I won't ever see her or talk to her ever again! :( I wish I can get that chance in '09, but I doubt it. Know I can be a betterman! But, it'll be another lost amazing memory kept deep inside, forever!
We met in TO before the first of the two EV shows at Massey Hall. You are a true Northern PJ Spirit traveling along the PJ highways. My friend and I helped out with the draws on the first night but we didn't make it back for the second night but yes night two was very special. All the best to you and your family for 2009!!!
