Smile of others

I was watching the live performance of Pearl JAm at New York
and i loved a song wich everybody knew the words, i believe it wasn't a PJ song, i never heard it before. But what i liked the most was the look on Ed's face. He was truely happy while singing it. Sometimes he seams a little down when singing old songs, i think he is bored. I would be happy if i went to a PJ concert and see them happy and not bored playing what they love, don't care about my favorites, i can hear them when i want.
It was a dream, not a nightmare. A beautiful dream I could never imagined in a thousand nods. I saw this girl next to me, she wasn't beautiful until she smiled. And I felt that smile come at me in heat waves following. Soaking through my body and out my finger tips in shafts of color. And I knew somewhere in the world, somewhere, that there was love for me.

    awww....you noticed. that made me really happee. yeah, i know....im still kind of 'in hiding', but i can spare a few mins right now. well.....i've been trying to get a breather from this place, and doing lotsa work, so....that is my cause. how are things around here....anything new to report, are you okay?

    of course i'd notice that you've been missing. but i know what you mean about taking a break, i've taken a break or two myself.

    not sure what to report. there are a bunch of really amazing writers around here and its getting harder to keep up with my "read all" policy. some familiar faces have been resurfacing which is always a gift AND we've got lots of new friends that have joined us. all around i'd say its a happy little forum, even if the subject matter isn't always so happy. :D

    i'm really glad to see you and hope that when you have a moment or two you'll stop by.

    ahhh, i remember i had that same policy, but....there is so much on here now....nice to see this place growing more :)


    id post some of my poems, but...i lost my poem book somewhere. i dont understand how. i am gutted :(

    aww sunshine - i'd feel exactly the same.

    i'm devestated to hear about your lost book of poems and think of all those beautiful poems we won't see (selfish as always :P )

    i hope that you'll begin writing again soon and hopefully - your book will find its way back to you.
