3-30-05 Light

The sun resides in my furry flamed mind
bathing it in a golden resin of light
cries out in my dreams
to be shone within my breath

Oh if only this wicked want of love
could be burned away
and the crystal infusion
alight my way

it's such a daunting task to undertake
the residue of acceptance
lingers yet in my heart
creating chaos
in an otherwise
solace seeking state

Compare not the gentle fiction
of the celebratory flame
to the still mirror of my
soul

For there are gardens unknown
by but an elite few where
stars shine by day
and the sun guides the evening
into dawn eternal
