My sages wear no robes
They sing no lies
For no power beseeches them to conquer your mind
Liberation is their plight

They have wrung sweat from their fingertips
Lithe and heavy in the same breath
Stung with inconsequential yellow & black moments
That reap of the common human plight

My sages carry victory, love, hatred, transformation, scorn and suffering
In the rainbow verses of dexterity
My sages tell me to believe
In me

Listening to my own reverberating song

My sages whisper to me triumphantly
again and again
“Join us, Bring with you your sin and your joy and everything in between”
My sages, like me, seek no glory, only the raw truth in their story.
"If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to eachother." Mother Theresa
