It's a bit sentimental but I thought I'd post it anyway:

My heart is heavy my wellspring is all tapped out
This penance I paid
Has far too much doubt
For the freedom of your soul
Too little to wear out
A little butterfly
Within an angels stout

My baby she’s gone
In a fleet of an instant
Without a goodbye
She dove into the distant

No more surprises
When I greet her at home
No more sunrises
And I wondered where of she roamed

But how could I have ever made her captive
How could I have ever chained
Her down
When the depth of those ocean eyes
Told me she needed to play around
Around the ferns and the sycamore
And the cobble stone with mice
That she brought in to feed me
Not once but twice

The bond that we shared
Was mightier than thou
Strung up and soaring
Like a captain at the bow
Strong and sturdy
With time it would last
Beyond the wounds
And the haziness
Our love held so fast

Dear precious soul
May you be beyond peace
And roam in your home
With the greatest of beasts
May you delight in the
Feasts and run through the woods
And dine at the beaches in the
World without rules
"If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to eachother." Mother Theresa
